NEW CREATION CHURCH FAQs
A few things you might be wondering.
Wondering whether you need to believe a certain thing, join in, or give when you visit? Here are a few honest answers to help you feel more comfortable coming to NCC.
Do I need to believe a certain thing to come to your church?
Nope. When we say “come as you are,” we mean it spiritually too. Whatever your faith background or where you are on your journey, you’re welcome here. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you come.
Can I come, settle in, and just take it all in?
Absolutely. Our services are warm and a little interactive, and we’ll give everyone a chance to say hello to a face or two. But there’s no pressure to participate in any particular way. You’re welcome to listen, observe, and get comfortable at your own pace.
What is your music like?
It varies! Some Sundays lean acoustic, with traditional hymns and contemporary songs. Other Sundays, we have a full band. Either way, it’s a room full of people worshiping together, and you’re welcome to sing along or simply listen.
Do you serve communion?
Yes, on the first Sunday of each month and during special services like Christmas Eve and Easter. We offer communion by intinction, which means dipping the bread into the cup, and a gluten-free option is available. Everyone is invited to participate, regardless of age, denomination, or beliefs.
How much am I expected to give?
If you’re visiting, nothing at all. The service is our gift to you. If New Creation becomes your church home and you’d like to give, we’d be grateful. You can find the details on our Giving page.
Can my kids stay with me during worship?
Always. Kids of all ages are welcome in the service. We also offer a nursery and age-group programs if you’d like to use them. You can find check-in details and see how Sundays work for each age on our What to Expect page.
Can I watch your services online?
Yes! We livestream every week on Facebook, and you can watch past Sunday services on YouTube. Feel free to take a look before you visit.
How long are your worship services?
About 90 minutes.
Should I break out my finest church attire?
Wear whatever you’re comfortable in. Most of the folks up front are in jeans, but if worshiping Jesus in a three-piece suit is your jam, you’ll fit in just fine too.
I will only attend church if I am guaranteed a Shipley’s blueberry cake donut every week. Can you guarantee that?
Yes. Yes we can.
